Editing Work on "FISH MICH"
Recently, I had the opportunity to don my "Editor" hat to work with Bo Brinkman and his stage producer friend Brendan Ragotzy (Galesburg, MI). They had collaborated on a spoof of a local Michigan TV fishing show titled "FISH MICH" which needed some creative input in post to give it direction. I did an extensive re-cut on the show while adding sound effects, music underscore and creative scene transitions. The work has been well received by the team, and is now back in Michigan for finishing touches.
The project was shot in JVC's ProHD 720/24p format and sent to me in Houston already captured on an Iomega HD with an FCP project file. It was very simple to plug it in to my Mac, open the project file and immediately begin editing in Final Cut Pro.
